Hi, I'm Ahmad.

I was born in Cairo. We moved to Muscat when I was little, and I came back to Cairo as a teenager.

I grew up with parents who loved capturing memories. They were obsessed with having a camera with us everywhere we went, so we have so many albums from when we were kids. They only wanted to keep family moments, but some of those photos turned out to be beautiful pieces.

I tried many times to pick up photography, but I had to work early, while I was still studying, so I couldn't really do it. I only had the time and the space for it after I moved to Berlin in 2018, and during Covid I started going out with my camera a lot more.

I work in UX and graphic design, and my degree is in interior design, so creatively I'm a bit all over the place.

I'm a loving dad and a happy husband, and I owe a big part of my creativity to my daughter and wife. I'm unapologetically optimistic about the future and want to create a better world for both of them to live in.

I have ADHD. Photography helps me a lot to immerse myself in a place, and it's like a cure for it.

As a good Egyptian, I enjoy cooking for my family and friends and having a good conversation around the table.
